Vinyasa yoga requires that we cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next—one breath at a time. Viewing “Vinyasa” Yoga through this definition of “(Vi)-in a special way and (Nyasa)-to place,” as well as a practice of “breath linked with movement,” we will discuss, practice, and create Vinyasa Yoga sequencing that you can use to safely and creatively teach to all levels: beginning through advanced students.

You will learn how to design a yoga practice and sequence for your students that is appropriate for their level, building from the simplest to the more complex. We will cover modifications of poses for different levels or injury prevention and the use of counterposes to balance the overall effects of poses.
