This Weekend Intensive is part of Sellwood Yoga’s 300 Hour Advanced Studies Yoga Teacher Training Program as well as the “Deep Dive” Track. Learn how to teach an all levels, inclusive, and approachable style of Gentle and Restorative Yoga that includes deep and supported relaxation, compassionate and attuned listening, and therapeutic healing and resiliency.
Experiment with clusters of poses so that you understand how offering choices empowers your students to adapt the practice to their current needs and situation.

Benefit from the guidance of a professional Breath Worker and Healer, who will both lead you through exercises to help you personally, as well as techniques you can bring into your work with students.
Be adaptive in how you teach restorative yoga based on the props (of lack thereof) at your disposal.
Receive guidance from a Mindfulness Instructor on how to weave body scans, meditation, visualization, and practical mindfulness into your Gentle and Restorative sequencing.
