Total:  10 Hours

  • Friday, May 11, 2023 (6pm-8pm)
  • Saturday, May 13, 2023 (1pm-5pm)
  • Sunday, May 14, 2023 (1pm-5pm)

Treat this module as a celebration of you and the positive impact you make in other people’s lives, as well as a way to be in community with other yoga instructors and yoga enthusiasts.

Each day, Savonn and Maria will lead you in nurturing yoga practices and conversations.

We will get real about how common it is to feel burntout, overwhelmed, tired, alone, and at times uninspired during your teaching career. We will look at how community, family, friends, therapists, body workers, healers, coaches, and others are essential to have on your “A” team of support.

Over the weekend, we will share healthy snacks, meals, and beverages while listening to a variety of guest speakers talk about and guide us through strategies for self-care. Depending on the group’s interest in other modalities, we may include onsite foot, head, and hand massage; group acupuncture; aromatherapy; energy work, and other things to help you feel more supported, healthy, and proactive.

We will also brainstorm together and share resources to keep inspiration alive and the spark that comes from being in service bright.

This Weekend Intensive is part of Sellwood Yoga’s 300 Hour Advanced Studies Yoga Teacher Training Program as well as the “Deep Dive” Track. With instructor approval, you may be able to register for this module as a stand-alone weekend. Please email for more information.
