“Light is an invitation to happiness, and that happiness, when it’s done right, is a kind of holiness, palpable and redemptive.”

– Mary Oliver

Spring is an opportunity for renewal and rebirth—for planting the seeds of both growth and change. In this micro-retreat, designed to realign and balance the chakras (energy centers), we will weave invigorating vinyasa flow into longer-held yin and restorative poses, creating a spacious awakening within.

In this retreat you will experience the following:

  • Vinyasa flow to unite breath with intention and movement
  • Deeply-opening yin poses to restore balance and release tension
  • Longer-held restorative poses to nurture and sooth
  • Pranayama (breath work)
  • Mantra (chanting) and sound healing
  • Guided meditation
  • Reiki, a hands on Japanese energetic healing technique (by Ariel Hart, a certified Reiki Master)

Class size limited to 16 people to ensure a deeply healing experience for all participants. Preregistration kindly appreciated.

Instructor — Nicole Cranston

Nicole Cranston

Nicole Cranston began practicing yoga in the mid-90’s and as a 2010 graduate of The Bhaktishop School of Yoga, she is overjoyed to share the practice of yoga with the community.

Dance and gymnastics were a huge part of her childhood and she believes the movement in yoga provides an outlet that brings deeper meaning to motion; that what we practice on the mat directly influences and guides us in the world we live in as we aim for balance and harmony.

In daily life and in the studio she strives to share yoga in an honest and enthusiastic way. By emphasizing breath with movement, balance, and flexibility students build a strong foundation from where their practice can evolve. Everyone comes to yoga for their own reasons. Nicole’s wish is to open the door further by encouraging students to move from a place of truth and smile along the path of discovery.
