Location

Join Savonn and Kari for 4 days and 3 nights in Manzanita, OR for yoga, resting and relaxing, connecting to nature and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Savonn and Kari will lead 5 yoga classes.  This retreat is appropriate for adventurous beginners as well as those who are more experienced and looking to enhance their practice.

Originally built in 1916, the Historic Reed House was updated with modern conveniences in 2014, maintaining its original charm, while taking advantage of the stellar location — wide swaths of windows to frame unparalleled views; restorations of original finishes, new updated kitchen with all the modern conveniences you would want in a big cooks kitchen; a large great room with original stone fireplace, 180º views and dining area to hold all of our attendees, entertainment, and media room, pool table room, ping pong area, beds and bathrooms galore, a third HD TV area and small library.  Last but not least a huge deck spanning the front of the house and along the side of the house covering the equivalent of a full Manzanita lot. Nestled into the side yard is our own private fire pit with views of the Pacific Ocean to gather round and roast S’mores or quiet conversation around a fire with a glass of your favorite beverage.

In between classes, you can explore Manzanita and the beach or venture North or South to other towns and beaches such as Cannon Beach and Oswald West State Park (Short Sand Beach).  Up and down the coast, there are numerous places to explore including hiking trails, places to go surfing or take surfing lessons, spa treatments in Manzanita or Cannon Beach, wine tasting, beach combing, opportunities for mushroom foraging, and more.   September is usually a sunny and lovely time at the Oregon Coast.
