If you have enjoyed MELTing so far, you will likely find MELT Performance (NeuroStrength) even more enlightening. MELT Performance is all about stabilizing the shoulder girdle, core and pelvis using specialized cues, props, positions and movements based on the concepts of neuromuscular therapy. These specialized movements allow you to access your unconscious neurological pathways and influence your own muscular timing. From these movements, you will be able to simulate specialized hands-on therapeutic techniques that are used to reintegrate optimal joint motion, erase compensatory patterns, and help you not only live pain-free but also improve athletic performance.
This series will cover the 7 main moves of the MELT Performance program that stabilize your shoulder girdle, pelvis, and core. Time will be spent with each participant to make sure they get the concepts and positioning. If we have extra time at the end of the series I will add additional moves.
If you are in a lot of pain we kindly recommend that you start with a private MELT session or an Intro class, so we can determine the best MELT map to get you started. For optimal experience and results please be sure to bring a full water bottle. All equipment will be provided for the series. In order to practice at home between sessions, we recommend purchasing equipment for yourself, which will be available before and after class.

Instructor — Sharie Moss
After spending the first half of her working life co-building a family business and raising three kids, Sharie decided to switch gears and return to what she is drawn to most… finding and practicing habits that get us as close to body mind balance in everyday life as possible. After experiencing MELT for the first time about 4 years ago and noticing the profound effect it had on her nervous system, energy and body efficiency, she was hooked and wanted from then on to learn and teach MELT. She has just finished her level 2 training in October 2015 with MELT innovator Sue Hitzmann, and is excited to share these simple, but extremely effective moves with anyone who is also wants to find the best in their bodies, whatever their age.
Sharie developed her innate sense of body movement after spending two decades as a competitive swimmer finishing at the national level of competition. Wishing she would have had MELT to ease her aches and pains and improve her performance back then, she now uses MELT to keep her moving like a much younger person, dancing injury free, as well as keeping her entire life more balanced. She loves seeing how MELT has help all types of people from seniors wanting to acquire more balance and ease in their bodies, to teens managing the mind and body stress of school and team sports, to busy parents trying to get enough sleep and peace in their day, to athletes who want to improve their performance and stay injury free.
