Have you been wanting to handstand but aren’t sure where to start? Maybe you’ve learned to kick up onto the wall and are wondering how to balance with your feet off the wall? In this workshop, we’ll learn the building blocks of this fun and exciting pose, spend time incorporating those building blocks into your practice, and work toward stabilizing away from the wall. This workshop will happen in a small group setting, so you’ll have individual attention and the chance to ask questions.

No handstand experience is necessary, but familiarity with downward dog is recommended.

Christine Morita-McVey

Christine Morita-McVey began practicing yoga in 2008, immediately falling in love with yoga as a focused, physical exercise. Over the next few years, she realized her yoga practice had also fostered a quiet sense of well-being, on and off the mat. In her classes, she aims to create a playful, fun place for exploration and adventure. Christine completed her 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training with Michele Loew, Rosie Acosta, and Simon Menasche in 2015.
