Most of us spend a great deal of time looking at our faces, yet very little time truly listening to what they might be communicating.
The face carries the imprint of our experiences, habits, emotions, stress, rest, nourishment, and resilience. It reflects not only how we age, but how we move through life.
In my Face as Mirror workshop, we explore the Ayurvedic understanding that the skin reflects our inner landscape. Digestion, stress, sleep, hydration, circulation, emotions, and daily rhythms all leave their imprint on the face. Rather than seeing these changes as flaws, we learn to view them as information.
Through Ayurvedic face mapping, dosha discovery, and simple self-care practices, participants gain a deeper understanding of how their unique constitution influences their skin and overall wellbeing.
This work isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about cultivating awareness, supporting balance, and developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
When we learn to observe with curiosity rather than criticism, the face becomes more than a reflection—it becomes a teacher.
Face as Mirror will be held on Sunday June 14th from 1:00-2:30pm. You can sign up here.
