$50 for the 3 week series
Never practiced yoga before? Our Beginner’s Yoga Series welcomes the absolute beginner or anyone wanting or needing a basic and easy-to-follow introduction to yoga. Our instructors will “hold your hand” and help you to take the worry and fear out of starting something new. Together, we will start at square one and talk about and experience simple yoga poses.
You will learn the basic building blocks for a safe, supported, and easy-going yoga practice. Each week, we will revisit what we learned the week before and slowly build on that foundation. You will be practicing with a group of other newbies under the guidance of non-intimidating instructors who know what it feels like to be a beginner.
Yoga can help you build strength, stability, flexibility, and stamina, and it supports every system in the body (muscular, skeletal, digestive, nervous…you name it!) Our hope is that, by trying yoga, you will start to feel less stressed, more centered, and deeply grounded. You will discover why so many people depend on yoga to help them feel better.
We want to help you get started on a path to better health and increased well being. Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing email@example.com.
Instructor — Christine Morita-McVey
Christine Morita-McVey began practicing yoga in 2008, immediately falling in love with yoga as a focused, physical exercise. Over the next few years, she realized her yoga practice had also fostered a quiet sense of well-being, on and off the mat. In her classes, she aims to create a playful, fun place for exploration and adventure. Christine completed her 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training with Michele Loew, Rosie Acosta, and Simon Menasche in 2015.
