Quinn Shuff

“One unique aspect of Quinn’s teaching that helps me to feel a great deal of opening in each class is the way she paces the practice and the transitions between poses.  Having a tight body with many achy spots, I appreciate having some time to shift out of one pose and ease into another, so as to be able to adjust my alignment aa needed and still experience significant unwinding in each pose.  I also appreciate her framing the instructions for each pose both succinctly and with enough detail to allow for new discovery, even in quite familiar poses.  Most of all, her joy in the practice shines through her voice and demeanor, and always brings me to an uplifted place at the end of class.”

“I have practiced with Quinn for many years – she is simply a gem!!  She is a very kind and intentional instructor.  All of her classes are thought out in great detail.  She provides really clear direction on how to correctly move from pose to pose, always making sure that each student understands and is correctly positioned.  I’ve taken various types of her classes but my favorite is her Yin classes.  They have been intrical in strengthening my muscles which better support my back which had caused me much pain.  After taking many of Quinn’s Yin classes my pain was gone which made a huge difference in my life as well as enabled me to improve my overall yoga practice.  I always enjoying her upbeat and well executed classes. “
