“Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim.” –B.K.S. Iyengar
Liz Warrens is a certified RYT 200 instructor with a passion for Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin yoga. Her teaching style embodies a focus on alignment, mobility, balance and strength, and she designs her classes as a woven tapestry, integrating a connection to mind, body, and breath. She creates a welcoming space for all bodies and all practice levels.
She completed her 200-hour training through Sellwood Yoga in March 2024, studying under the expertise of Savonn and Bill Wyland amongst various other teachers. She has subbed for various studio classes since completion and participated in international yoga retreats. Although Liz is new to teaching, she has 20+ years of yoga practice on the mat. She finds yoga to be a grounding practice that’s increased her stress relief and connected her to a deeper sense of peace, presence, and being centered. This is very helpful in her career off the mat as a school counselor.
When not teaching or attending a yoga class, you can find Liz hanging out with her family, outside in the mountains, on the water, baking cookies, traveling, or interior decorating which includes flower designs.
