I started seriously practicing yoga in 2011, and with continuous practice, I discovered that yoga offered a pathway to not just physical health, but it became a mainstay of my own emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. This led me to pursue my 200 hour teacher training in 2014 at Yoga Bhoga.
Since then, I have loved being a member of the Sellwood Yoga community, right in the heart of the neighborhood I live in, and love so much. As a teacher, I’m interested in the ways that yoga can calm the nervous system and settle the mind, particularly as an antidote to the busy, technology-driven lives so many of us lead, and so I try to focus on breath and alignment on and off the mat.
